Calligraphy is my form of self-care.

I’m Amber, a Washington, D.C., based engraver and calligrapher who loves making letters come to life. I started teaching myself modern calligraphy (usually around 3 hours a day) as a way to destress when I was working the overnight shift at my job in 2017.

I believe that everyone can have calligraphy in their lives and I’m passionate about creating unique pieces of art that can be given from one person to another through the mail or in-person. I treasure each opportunity to share my love and dedication of this craft in today’s digital world. 

When my hand gets tired, I’m usually found trying a bottomless brunch spot, catching up on reality TV or reading a good book.
